  • CATHRYN FROM BRACKNELL

I would just like to say that sometimes companies don`t get enough positive feedback from customers and so I`d like to thank you for making the process of scrapping my car easy and hassle free. The process is simple, the quote was the highest I could get from shopping around, the collection driver was pleasant and, although on a personal level I found actually letting go of my car difficult, I am really pleased that I chose scrap my car because it made the whole process a lot less stressful for me. I was also pleased to know that my car would be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner. I would also like to thank you for your timely and courteous correspondence with this matter. I am likely to recommend you to my family and friends and have already done so. I just thought you would like to receive some good feedback.

  • BRIAN FROM ALDERSHOT

We just want to thank your company for the efficient service we had when scrapping our vehicle yesterday. We telephoned in the morning and your driver was there to take our car away the same afternoon. He was pleasant and extremely skilful, manoeuvering the transporter into a very small space for a hassle-free removal.
We would wholeheartedly recommend ScrapMyCar to everyone and will be using you again if required.
    Thank you!

  • OWEN FROM ALDERSHOT

Very happy with this service. Anything relating to used car sales tends to make non car industry people twitchy and when you have to deal with the inconvenience of a dead vehicle , the last thing you need is more stress. However, I found this service helpful and easy to deal with. All questions were responded to swiftly. The collection was easy to organise. The receipts, payments and collection all happened smoothly and exactly as explained. All the complicated work is done for you. I would recommend this service. Thank you.

People also ask...

Is my online quotation guaranteed?

As long as the car is complete (with engine, gearbox, body panels, catalyst, battery and all the wheels) the price we offer is guaranteed for 48hrs and there are no deductions or administration charges whatsoever. Note that the car should be free from any waste and accessible.

How long does it take to collect my car?

Once you agree the price we will contact you within 30 minutes in working hours (we call and arrange a time/day for collection, typically this will be within 48 working hours). The actual collection time takes fifteen minutes; that's to load your car onto the recovery vehicle but it may take longer depending on the location of your car and how difficult it is to remove.

What do I need to provide at the time of collection?

To make the process quick have the registration document (V5C), a photo I.D, a recent utility bill, the car key, and locking wheel nut key if your car has alloy wheels, and any other paperwork you may have for the car would be useful.

What to do I do with my car insurance?

You can cancel your car insurance as soon as the car has been collected. If you cancel your insurance before the car is collected, then it is illegal for you to use it on the public highway.

How do your online quotes work?

We use our own bespoke quotation system to provide you with the best and fastest scrap price for your car. We're not an aggregator that hands your data to someone else, and it is us that will collect your car.

About Marlow Buckinghamshire

Marlow, Buckinghamshire, England. It is located on the River Thames, 4 miles (6 km) south south-west of High Wycombe, 5 miles (8 km) west north-west of Maidenhead and 33 miles (53 km) west of central London.
The average journey time between Marlow and London Paddington is 1 hour 23 minutes . On an average weekday, there are 28 trains travelling from Marlow to London Paddington.
The manor of Marlow, which had belonged to the Earls of Mercia, was given by William the Conqueror, to his Queen Matilda. Marlow owed its importance to its location on the River Thames, where the road from Reading to High Wycombe crosses the river. There has been a bridge over the Thames at Marlow since the reign of King Edward III. The current bridge is a suspension bridge, designed by William Tierney Clark in 1832, and it was constructed by 1835. It was a prototype for and is twinned with the much larger Széchenyi Chain Bridge across the River Danube in Budapest.
